Where will the trail be built?
While we aim to be true to the former rail corridor, it will take detailed feasibility studies to determine the actual route of the trail.
Do you have a map of the trail?
We are in the very early stages of this LONG term project. There will be many factors, most of which are unknown at this time that will impact the actual route. Please see the downloadable version of our map down below!
How will it affect my property/community?
We aim to work with all trail neighbors to provide them the privacy they deserve, and the community access to a greenway space we can all be proud of.
How can I get involved? What can I do to help?
The easiest way to help is to spread the word to friends, neighbors and family members to support our efforts (like our social media pages! ). This is a community project and we'll need the support of our community to accomplish any of our goals!
Who will have access to the trail?
Most shared-use paths (multi-purpose trails) are facilities for non-motorized users that are independently aligned and not necessarily associated with parallel roadways. Shared use paths are designed to accommodate a variety of users, including walkers, bicyclists, joggers, people with disabilities, skaters, pets and sometimes equestrians. These users can be on the facility for a variety of purposes including recreation, commuting, and local travel.
